HelpSmith helps you provide help files for your own application in popular help formats one of which is CHM files, a standard format for Help documentation in Windows. HelpSmith has support for all the features of CHM Help, allowing you to create the tree-type TOC, Index, edit and create custom chm viewer's help windows, etc..

For experienced technical writers, HelpSmith has the Import ability, so you can import your existing help projects from the .HHP format (Microsoft HTML Help Workshop) or even directly from .CHM HTML Help files.
